The Challenge

When Qualivis began working with West Tennessee Healthcare, they faced significant staffing challenges, particularly in nursing and allied health roles. At the time, Angie LaFont, contingent labor assistant, was solely responsible for managing the program’s details, including manually reviewing submissions and conducting interviews—a process that added considerable strain to her workload. 

“West Tennessee Healthcare operates seven facilities, and at its peak, we had around 150 to 200 travelers,” said LaFont. “It was a busy period, and I handled nearly all the work myself—interviewing, reviewing submissions, and everything in between. It was definitely a heavy workload for me.”
